Research
I am interested in developing Bayesian methods for social science applications. I am particularly interested in forecasting and missing data problems. My work has largely focused on statistical demography, where I have developed methods for probabilistic forecasting of fertility given policy interventions targeting women's education and access to family planning and for multiple imputation of hierarchical nonlinear time series data such as school enrollment rates.
